This track explores the broader issues of ethics, policy and legal frameworks as they relate to digital sovereignty and Free Software. As software systems become more complex, presentations will address key legal and policy challenges, such as compliance with software licences, intellectual property rights and privacy regulations. The track will also examine how Free Software can strengthen public sector autonomy and reduce dependency on proprietary vendors.
