This workshop starts with overview of the latest XR technologies, like Android XR, Open XR and upcoming glasses devices. The hands-on session will focus on Meta Quest 3 using passthrough and Godot Engine 4.5 with OpenXR to build a simple AR prototype. Participants will learn how to set up the development environment, create a basic XR scene, and deploy it directly on the headset. The workshop is beginner-friendly and does not require prior experience in XR development.
