Adriano Venturini is manager and co-founder of Suggesto srl, a company specialized on web and mobile technologies for destinations and tourism organizations. He has more than 20 years’ experience in design and developing advanced software systems for regional and international tourism destinations. Suggesto develops an innovative platform for tourism which exploits recommendation and Internet of Things technologies for promoting and marketing tourist destinations online and for supporting the tourist onsite. Recommendation technologies help the tourist to find interesting products and services in a personalized way. Internet of Things in tourism enables travellers to interact with the digital contents and services of the destination through the different channels (web, mobile, smart objects and environment) in a personalized, localized and tangible way. Adriano Venturini participated to several national and international research projects addressing personalization, data integration and Internet of Things issues. He is author of papers published on journals and proceedings of specialized international conferences.
