This two-hour workshop, organized by volunteers from Wikimedia Italia, will focus on improving the OpenStreetMap coverage of NOI Techpark in Bolzano. Participants will receive a short introduction about OpenStreetMap, mobile collaborative mapping tools, and methodologies. Then there will be practical mapping activities carried out both on PC and in the field with the apps. The session is open to everyone interested in contributing to open geographic data. Multiple topics will be covered, like how to contribute to humanitarian mapping but also how to improve mapping in your city about topics like cycling networks, accessibility, and more. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop, mouse, and smartphone.
