I believe this workshop is considered very interesting by school leaders and teachers because it offers the possibility to have high-quality materials tested and produced with the support of teachers themselves, all available for free.
ComeInClasse is creating a valuable material-sharing community among educators by integrating digital tools such as Nextcloud, online editing, BigBlueButton, Moodle, Matrix, and Mastodon with a single centralized authentication system. This integration allows educators to easily share resources, collaborate, and communicate securely while respecting privacy, fostering a sustainable and accessible digital learning environment.
The platform is designed based on principles of sharing and reuse, promoting a circular economy that generates value economically—saving resources—and educationally—supporting skill development and autonomy that reflect deeply on society, of which students are an integral part. The community of users and developers continuously improves the software with passion and a community spirit, ensuring security and privacy essential for modern education.
With centralized authentication, users can access all resources with one set of credentials, simplifying management and reducing administrative time. Dedicated training for educators, including workshops and technical support, facilitates effective use of the platform. This creates a dynamic collaborative network where educators actively participate and support each other’s professional growth and integrated digital teaching.
We will show how the use of free tools has allowed teachers to become protagonists of technology once again. We will tell you how, during our training sessions in South Tyrol/Alto Adige and other parts of Italy, we helped teachers make conscious and highly effective use of technology. We will show you the content they created in just a few hours (and that is available to everyone).
We have also paid special attention to accessibility, specific learning disabilities, and special educational needs. We will tell you how teachers can now consciously and critically use Artificial Intelligence as well, and how they can deposit the results of their work of processing and selection into specific courses on Moodle that are shareable and reusable.
