System Administrator at Continuity Srl

Mauro Biasutti brings 25 years of deep passion for Free Software to everything he does, a passion that has shaped both his career and his values. The thread running through his work is consistent: sharing knowledge, defending digital freedom, and proving that open-source principles translate into concrete, practical solutions for real organizations.

This commitment found an early home in PNLUG (Pordenone Linux User Group), an association that played a role in the founding of Continuity Srl itself, and where Mauro continues to serve as a board member. He also co-organized three editions of the LinuxArena stand at the Pordenone Radio Amateurs Fair.

At Continuity, which he joined in 2022 as a System Administrator, his day-to-day work spans Debian server management and deployment on Proxmox infrastructure, both clustered and remote, network device configuration, complex troubleshooting, and service desk support. He also handles customized configurations of the company's management software for individual clients.

He contributed to the design and development of the ComeInclasse suite, through which he has reached hundreds of teachers and students across Italy, spreading the culture and practical benefits of Free Software. He has presented the suite's features at several events and coordinates knowledge-transfer sessions held both in person and remotely. He also developed Continuity's internal certification program for specialized personnel, a multi-module course covering open-source tools in depth and the communication skills needed to bring them effectively to end users.

Mauro leads Continuity's Artificial Intelligence project, focused on implementing AI solutions in both workplace and educational contexts, and contributes to the company's digital transition program.
