Valentina Lenarduzzi

LUT University

post-doctoral researcher

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at LUT University (Finland). My research is mainly related to software quality, maintenance, and evolution with a special focus on Technical Debt. I am currently investigating different perspectives of Technical Debt, broadening my research interests to software architectures, requirements engineering, testing, processes, and business aspects. Moreover, I am investigating how to adopt methods from epidemiology in empirical software engineering and how to conduct data analysis on time series in empirical software engineering.
Before that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Tampere University (Finland) and at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, (Italy). Moreover, I was visiting researcher at the University of Kaiserslautern (TUK) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Experimental Software Engineering IESE (Germany). I obtained my Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2015 with a dissertation on effort estimation and data analysis in software engineering.
