Tural Gurbanov is a PhD Candidate at the Faculty of Computer Science, Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. His research is dedicated to the prediction of user actions, such as purchases or video views, in the context of recommender systems. He is also the creator of the ecommender system for the Russian video streaming company ivi.ru. During his industrial and academic career, he has designed and implemented various Machine Learning and Deep Learning approaches for modelling user behaviour and building personalized product suggestions.
