Matthias Dieter Wallnöfer has been interested in computer science since his childhood. After graduating from the technical highschool “Technische Fachoberschule ‘Max Valier’ Bozen” he earned a Bachelor of Science at the University of Innsbruck and a Master of Science with the specialisation “Systems” at the University of Padua.
Over the years he contributed to various FLOSS projects including “Samba” and later on to the orchestration language “Jolie”. He is a free software advocate at the local level (umbrella brand “Digital Sustainability in South Tyrol” – www.openbz.eu) and is currently employed as a computer science teacher at the highschool cited at the beginning.
