I’m a former student at the Free University of Bolzano, and for my bachelor thesis I researched process mining and how it is applied in the business field and in the research field.
There are plenty of tools that are available open source (especially coming from the research side) and they could be a very powerful tool in the analysis of data coming from other open source software for public use.
