Dietrich Pescoller is a System Engineer working at Microgate s.r.l. in Bolzano. He studied Engineering at the University of Bologna. During the work of the graduation thesis he approached the Linux world and made the following work/publication: An Ex-perimental Set-up for Robotics and Control Systems Research using Real-Time Linux and Comau SMART 3-S Robot. In the last decade he was involved and responsible for the Control System development of Alma Project European telescope. He is expert in the Control System design and implementation on Real Time operating systems.
