Scientific Collaborator

Since November 2019 Dietmar Siegele is scientific collaborator at the Fraunhofer Innovation Engineering Center in Bolzano. He did his PhD in Engineering Sciences in the field of energy efficient buildings at the University of Innsbruck. He is civil engineer and has an additional master’s degree in building automation. As an expert in simulations, he is responsible for the development of an open source toolbox for building energy simulations, called CARNOT-UIBK. He is open-minded for all kind of simulation tools, in particular if they are open source. At Fraunhofer Italia he is working in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Simulation. One of his actual most favoured software tools is the GAMA platform, an agent-based modelling software, which he presents in his talk.
