That’s a lot of a Platform!

Wheter a freelancer or part of an organization, working in a digital environment requires tools to modify the products, measure the performance, track competitors etc etc..
Every tool is a license and a cost. Overtime, these tools became huge platforms capable of doing many different things. The firepower grows along with the costs. Point is: we rarely use ALL the functionalities these platform has to offer and yet we pay the whole package.
Thankfully the AI revolution gave us the possibility to create our own artifact, then why not replicate that single feature that we really need by our own?
So here’s how me – a seo manager with close to none dev experience – built a tiny tool for reading server logs and save thousands in the making.
Not a pitch to throw away your entire stack, but to rationalize it. Because for the one function you actually use, the platform was always overkill.
