Industry is the driving force of the current century. After IoT, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and AI are continuously growing as new technologies, reaching good maturity as demonstrated by the increasing number of IoT and AI applications in new areas ranging from smart homes to smart Industry 4.0.
However, beside huge potentials, there are many open issues that need to be answered. Data Protection and Privacy is one of them, but there are also many other challenges in terms of liabilities, access management, data breach and denial of services.
