Free Software Adoption in Industry

Today Free Software is a means to stay competitive since the complexity of software systems is still increasing and a company can only offer state of the art products and services by integrating a large amount of Free Software. For a single company the use of Free Software and especially the active engagement in the ecosystem increases its innovation capabilities in different dimensions. The presentation gives a short overview on the current state of Free Software adoption in the industry. Based on figures a personal perspective is presented.
