AI Law & Ethics for sustainability corporate governance

14:4010/11/2023

In the era of AI, EU regulators struggle in definying a level playfield for the fruitful development of technology and utmost protection of fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals. The so-called AI Act is going to be approved by the end of 2023 and should come into force after a 2-year grace period. In any case most of the provision will be strongly risk-based and accountability oriented. In this fragmented and complex scenario, it is extremely interesting to observe how the use of AI law and AI ethics can serve the purposes of sustainability corporate governance, fostering innovation AND preserving fundamental rights and freedoms in a measurable and viable manner, having rights entering into business logics and decisions.
