AI Act, copyright and Open-Source: building transparent AI in Europe

As Artificial Intelligence systems become increasingly embedded in business processes and digital infrastructures, ensuring compliance with European regulations is no longer optional.
The AI Act, Reg. (UE) 1689/2024, together with EU copyright rules, introduces new requirements around transparency, data provenance and accountability, particularly in relation to the use of protected content in training datasets.
