A hydraulic simulation tool for water supply system on free Geographic Information System (QGIS)

The proposed hydraulic simulation tool for water supply system is a plugin of the well-known QGIS platform. The tool, called QEpanet, is based on the Epanet software but works on a GIS.
The advantages of this tool are the easy to use, the complete compatibility with the standard Epanet software and the possibility to increase the work productivity for engineering companies and public administrations. QEpanet is completely free and it is already available in the QGIS’s plugin database.
