I’m Samantha Cruz, a Data & AI Lead based in Barcelona with more than 7 years of experience building modern data platforms and scalable data pipelines. My work focuses on lakehouse architectures, data governance, observability, and AI-ready data systems using technologies such as Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and OpenLineage.

I regularly work on enterprise-scale data projects involving lineage automation, metadata, CI/CD, and distributed data processing, and I speak at international events about Data Engineering, AI systems, and modern data architectures.
