Sadaf Moaveninejad received B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from University of Guilan, Iran, in 2011. She was working as a master thesis student in Fraunhofer Institute for Embedded Systems and Communication (ESK), Munich, Germany in 2014. In 2015, She received M.Sc. degree in electronic engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Torino, Italy. From November 2015 to February 2020 she was with Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione and Bioingegneria in Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy where she received Ph.D. degree in telecommunication engineering. Her Ph.D. thesis was on hybrid wireless/powerline communication. She was also part of DataOptima Lab in Politecnico di Milano, where she worked on data analytics of smart meters for energy management. She is currently a research assistant with Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Bolzano, Italy. Her current research activity is based on analysis of sensor data and using machine learning for applications in sport activities.
