Dr. Pekka Abrahamsson serves currently as the dean of the faculty of computer science in free university of Bozen Bolzano in Italy. Prior joining the faculty in Bolzano, he was a full professor in University of Helsinki and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. He was the recipient of the Nokia Foundation Award in 2007. He lead the development of Mobile-D(tm), the agile development method for mobile software. Today he works with software based innovations, creativity and startups as well as likes to cook Italian food in his spare time.
