Pawel Mandes

Paweł Mandes is a seasoned software engineer and Senior Android Developer based in Warsaw, Poland. Working at Huawei, he brings more than 20 years of experience in web and mobile application development. Paweł is an active open-source contributor, most notably to the Eclipse Foundation’s Oniro for OpenHarmony—an open, vendor-neutral operating-system platform—where he co-authors codelabs and sample applications that fast-track developers’ adoption of the platform.

Driven by a lifelong commitment to democratising technology, he champions open-source and open-hardware practices and advocates for the ideals of Free Software as the most effective path to truly interoperable, user-empowering digital innovation.
