Nabil El Ioini is a researcher at the Software and Systems Engineering Research Group (SwSE), at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. His research interests lie in the area software engineering, cloud computing quality assessment and software security. Currently he is working on the design of conceptual architectures for managing Edge computing and IoT components. He is particularly focusing on designing architectural patterns that address Edge computing requirements in terms of scalability, orchestration, security and privacy using some of the mainstream technologies such as container and blockchain technologies.
