Max Kofler is a software developer at Danfoss’ FlexMotion project, where he’s been immersed in the world of embedded systems and development support since 2024. His passion lies in crafting robust and reliable software solutions that power a range of industrial applications. Max has extensive experience in embedded software development, including designing firmware for microcontrollers, implementing real-time control algorithms, and integrating hardware with software to ensure seamless operation of complex systems. He is skilled in C, C++, VHDL and Python, and is adept at debugging and optimizing code for resource-constrained environments. Beyond his core development work, Max has cultivated a specialization in PLC programming, putting him at the forefront of building automated solutions that drive efficiency and optimize processes. Max is also experienced with build systems and package management, including Conan and Make, and possesses deep expertise in compilers and DevOps practices. Fueling his expertise is a background and passion for open source, including experience as a developer of a Linux distribution. This gives him a profound understanding of Linux and low-level and system-level programming.
