Marvin has been developing open source software for almost ten years. His contributions focus on the Android operating system as well as federated instant messaging. He founded and remains main developer of microG, a project to provide a fully-compatible, free software Android without strings to Google.
Marvin finished his master’s degree in computer science in 2018. During his studies, he conducted research in the field of privacy and security of the Android operating system. For living, he is a freelance consultant and developer in the fields of FinTech, DLT, IT-Security, Networks and Android.
