Martin Englund is a Principal Site Reliability Engineer at Palo Alto Networks, where he runs the company’s data ingestion pipeline. He has over 25 years of experience automating very large scale operations, ranging from Sun Microsystems, to VMware to Facebook.
Prior to this role, Martin worked at Facebook where he built one of the largest GPU clusters in the world, which Facebook uses to train deep learning on. He is a firm believer that if you’re not automating it, you’re not doing it right.
