Giuseppe Tropea is a Software Engineer. He received his Master’s Degree from University of Catania, Italy, in October 2002. Since 2006 he is with Consorzio Nazionale Inter-universitario per le Telecomunicazioni (CNIT) and with NetSense srl software company, leading R&D teams, also within the several European projects, dealing with privacy protection in digital services and with advanced networking architectures such as Information Centric Networks, Software Defined Networking and sensors. He is active in MPEG and ETSI, where he is Editor for the NGSI-LD API specification in the DATA Technical Committee. His research interests include distributed routing protocols, neural networks and Artificial Intelligence, software modelling, and semantic tools.
