Gabriele Ruffatti
Free, independent, eclectic man; OW2 and OSI opensource communities individual member. Former Technical Director at Engineering Group, he has headed the Big Data & Analytics and Open Source Competency Centers and founded of the FLOSS SpagoWorld initiative in 2004. He has been a member of the OW2 Board of Directors of OW2 for 10 years and from 2013 to 2014 he was President of this Community. He has held senior management positions at Engineering Group in the fields of project and product management, software process improvement and design of innovative software architectures. He is an active supporter of various initiatives bringing innovation to the industry, research and education.
