Felix Hillebrand traded the calm farm life in South Tyrol for event-driven microservice systems and later for cloud-native platform engineering. Now based in Linz, Austria, he designs and operates the OpenTelemetry-based observability infrastructure that lets teams understand what their distributed systems are doing. Along the way, he finished his degree in Software Engineering from FH Oberösterreich.
