Diego Calvanese is a full professor at the Faculty of Computer Science of UniBZ. He carries out research in AI and Databases, notably in knowledge representation and reasoning and virtual knowledge graphs for data management and integration. He has authored more than 350 refereed publications, many in the most prestigious venues in AI and DBs, with more than 31000 citations and an h-index of 71. He is a Fellow of ACM and of the European Association for AI (EurAI).
