Davide Boschetto, born in Padova in 1987, obtained his PhD in Image Analysis at IMT School for Advanced Studies (Lucca) and holds an MSc in Bioengineering from the University of Padua. During his PhD studies he started using machine learning (SVMs, Random Forests) using MATLAB for developing CADSSs for microscopy of the gastrointestinal tract and from 2017 he moved to Python and C++ to develop deep learning solutions for solving Computer Vision-related problems into industrial quality inspection, researching everything between the problem inception and the model deployment towards production.
