I am a Master’s student in Artificial Intelligence Systems at the University of Trento and work as an AI Engineer at Trakti Ltd. My background combines a solid foundation in computer science with the practical application of advanced intelligent technologies.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, also from the University of Trento, with a thesis focused on Web3 and blockchain technologies. In my research work, I proposed an improvement to the Diamond Proxy standard (ERC-2535), optimizing scalability and modularity in the coordination of complex, upgradeable smart contracts.
Research Interests & Activities
Currently, my primary interests lie in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and process automation via intelligent agents, with the goal of designing autonomous systems capable of managing complex workflows.
In parallel, I conduct independent research on Small Language Models (SLMs). This line of study is driven by the need to balance computational efficiency with data security. The specific focus is the implementation of privacy-preserving, local models that ensure full compliance with stringent regulations such as GDPR. I develop solutions capable of processing sensitive information within controlled environments, eliminating the data leakage risks associated with large commercial models.
