With a background in software development, Daniel works as an R&T Engineer in environmental research at the Luxembourg Eco-hydrological Observatory (LEO) at the Luxembourg Institute of Science & Technology (LIST). His main interests lay in improving accessibility and validation of environmental data and in supporting the development of new innovative biodiversity monitoring methods. He is convinced that code should be made publicly available under a Free and Open Source Software license in research if public money is used.
