M. August Bournique is a US licensed attorney who immigrated to Amsterdam in 2023 after decades of living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has worked at the intersection of technology and law since 2018, after spending a career as a litigator in Silicon Valley. August is on the team of Special Rapporteurs drafting the vertical standards for the Cyber Resilience Act.
