Artemis Yagou (PhD) is a historian of design and technology, a Research Associate at the Deutsches Museum (Munich) since 2016. Her main research interests are the cultural history of technology, design history, museums, digital humanities, horology, construction toys, and Greek material culture (18th to 21st centuries). She has lectured internationally and published widely for more than 30 years. Her publications include the books Fragile Innovation: Episodes in Greek Design History (CreateSpace, 2011), Technology, Novelty, and Luxury (edited volume, Deutsches Museum, 2022), Products, Users, and Popular Luxury in Early Modern Greece (Routledge, 2024), and Construction Toys and Modern European Culture: Education, Politics, and Technology, 1830 to 1940 (forthcoming, Routledge, 2025).
