SFSCON 2015 Call 4 Speakers

The official Call for Speakers for the Free Software Conference 2015 – www.SFSCON.it -, to be held November 13th, 2015 at TIS innovation park in Bolzano/Bozen, Italy, is now open.

The SFSCON is an annual conference dedicated to Free Software in South Tyrol that is aimed at the general public, but in particular at decision-makers in the public administration and business worlds. SFSCON promotes the use of Free Software in IT infrastructures as a tool to achieve greater innovation and competitiveness.

Through the Call for Speakers, the Conference Committee will accept speaker submissions for possible inclusion in the program.
The Conference Committee encourages proposals for lightning talks. All lightning talks are 15 minutes in length including Q&A.

The Conference Committee is particularly interested in submissions on the following topics:

  • – Internet of Things (IoT)
  • Cloud Computing & Process Innovation
  • Creative Industries
  • Open Data & Big Data
  • SMART Energy & Green ICT
  • SMART Health
  • SMART Mobility
  • SMART Tourism
  • Software Development & Testing

To be considered, interested speakers should submit proposals by email to info(at)sfscon.it with the subject line “SFSCON 2015 Call4Speakers” within September 30, 2015.

Submissions must include the proposed presentation title, an informative talk abstract and contact information, description of the relevance to Free Software & Open Technologies, and a speakers bio, including a picture (280×280 pixel) for the speakers section https://www.sfscon.it/speakers/.

All speakers must adhere to the 100% vendor neutral / no commercial policy of the conference. If speakers cannot respect this policy, they should not submit a proposal.
