The software available in the open source catalogue (https://developers.italia.it/en/software) and designed for Public Administrations is steadily growing.
The standard used in the Italian catalogue for describing the software metatada (https://yml.publiccode.tools) has been also adopted by the EU for the EU Open Source Solutions Catalogue (https://interoperable-europe.ec.europa.eu/eu-oss-catalogue).
The EU catalogue, launched this spring is expanding rapidly. In the landscape, there are also other national catalogues that are starting to implement new features.
We would like to present our activities and discuss with the community the future opportunities and eventually challenges for increasing the free software adoption in the public administrations with the aim of gathering ideas.
