OW2 is involved in OIS (Open Internet Stack) “Restack”, a European cascade funding (aka “FSTP”) dedicated to open source and digital commons, dedicated to European small organizations (companies, associations, academics, etc.) or even individuals.
The fund itself is managed by NLnet, a Dutch non-profit foundation, and the funding – a total of 7 MEUR – is part of EU Horizon.
Other funds are available or coming soon, with a more vertical focus, like CodeSupply for the software supply chain or GeoCommons for geospatial technologies.
The application process has been made as simple as possible: a form to fill-in, so one can apply for a grant within hours.
Discover how you may obtain OIS grants (up to 50 kEUR, multiple applications possible), what OIS is about, how it extends the previous NGI “Next Generation Internet” programme, the community involved, etc.
Come and join the community! More information + online application at https://nlnet.nl/restack
